the way i see it, i’m not too old for anything except underage drinking. in my life, I’ve been a waitress, exterior painter, landscaper, cashier, nursing student, real estate agent, secretary, public defender, enlisted navy reservist in Intel, and, most recently, special educator. I’ve got two marvelous but challenging kiddos. I’m single and I’m terribly loney sometimes (on all levels…), but my inner life is very full and sensual, I dream on overdrive, i get lost in the eternity of the echoing moment, and I feel like a child. i love to use my body, to play. I love ultmiate frisbee, soccer, working out, stretching, and sharing myself once the time is right. I love to write, but I don’t have a novel in me, i get sick of the format of poetry, because it feels narcissistic, like a closed circle.. I don’t know what to do with my prose, but it just comes out, sometimes. I love to read. I definitely have a dark brooding side, I like rain and laundromats… I believe that we can be fullest by losing ourselves, if you know what I mean? You can lose yourself through work, through creating art, through loving service and attention to others, through experiencing another person’s ideas, mind, body, or spirit… I feel fullest when I get out of my own way. I need more friends.

I am having major back surgery in December of 06 to correct a spinal curvature that has worsened for nearly thirty years despite lots of nutritional and exercise approaches to avoid that… so I need good thoughts, please. It’s MAJOR surgery.

Also for anyone on board with this issue - send me your ideas, links, articles… I believe that endocrine disruptors and persistant bioaccumulative substances are not only disturbing our biology and that of our fellow creatures on earth, I think they are also causing the wave of autsim, ADD, ADHD, Aspergers, and other cognitive, behaivoral, neurological, psychiatric problems we see in young children and aduts too. Some of these subtances mimic hormones, and scamble normal development and function, for example the bisphenol A that leaches from our plastic bottles and ends up in our blood and brains… Any interest info, or ideas, PLEASE send my way! I’m a lawyer, a mommy and I’ll have a master in Special Ed soon, so I’ll have tthe tools to take social action on the subject.
